At Axcis Build we specialize in the construction of new architectural homes at an affordable price.
Our team consists of Carpenters and Open class Builders with a combined 40 years of experience in Building and construction and in particular, custom new homes.
Axcis Build is a Brisbane based builder that take your dream home on paper and turn it into bricks and mortar, literally. Axcis Build, led by Mike and Josh who are proudly hands on, lead all our builds with our team of Carpenters and respected trades to ensure Quality in every New home and project that we hand over to our clients.
More than half of our clients are returning for the second or more time, entrusting Axcis Build and our team of respected trades to once again build their Custom designed home at an affordable price that others simply cannot.
Custom Design
We work closely with many designers and Architects across all corners of Brisbane and surrounds. If you don't have a design or plans as yet that you are happy with, we can put you in touch with any of our completely independent Architects that can help you come up with your dream home that will actually fall within budget that you want.
We will then either Tender your plans to all of our trades required and have the build quoted to full turn key with zero omissions that could catch people out.
If you already have finalised plans, then we will send these plans out for complete tender and quote, see where it comes in on price and have recommendations on value engineering if required to reduce total build cost and/or time.
Our goal is to bring your dream home to life with your innovative and functional architectural designs, without sending you broke or lifetime of debt in the process.
Budget Management
Managing budgets effectively is our unique expertise. We ensure that your dream home is built within the specified budget without compromising on quality or design.
How we do this is what sets Axcis homes apart from the rest. It's a mathematical approach that we have been following and perfecting for our near 15 years in business. There is always the same scope that go into building a home. From a high level, most of these fall pretty closely to an exact percentage of total build cost. When we work backwards from build cost, we can pro rata costs into each trade and scope of build.
We then see where the discrepancies may lie, work with yourselves towards reducing these areas of scope by either reducing them in the design or by sharing allocated allowance from other scope items that have more healthily fallen within budget.
We are able to do this effectively due to our relationships we have built with our trades and suppliers over many years. We happily pass on our much sharper pricing and project timing from them to you, allowing a non-embellished and complete quote and tender for our clients
Timely Construction
We understand the importance of timelines in construction. Our team is dedicated to completing projects within the agreed-upon timelines, ensuring that you move into your new home as planned.
This is completed due to effectiveness of the quoting stage and our trades not wanting to be living on each build when they don't have months and months of overheads built into each build. Each of our tenders and subsequent purchase orders come with agreed timeframes from that perspective trade.
This way we can effectively put together a build specific program and schedule that can be followed by all from breaking ground, through to handing over of keys
This not only gets the clients into their homes earlier, but also saves on preliminary costs which keep the overall cost of build to a minimum.
